Brief description on enterprise: The administrative area of Mudanjiang Branch Bureau is 830,000 hectares. The branch bureau has 13 subordinated large & medium mechanized state-owned farms. The total area of ploughed land is 330,000 hectares and the per capita area is 1.5 hectares. The branch bureau is a state-level ecological demonstration zone, an important commodity grain base, a green foodstuff production base, an agricultural product & byproduct export base and a major investment development region determined by the nation. In 2005, the total yield of grain and soybean of the branch bureau was 2.1 million tons, supply of soybean as raw material can be assured.

Purpose of product and market situation: The demand on such products as soybean protein, soybean saponin, isoflavones produced with non-transgenic Longjiang soybean as raw material, by utilizing ADM soybean protein application technique and high technology in the markets at home and abroad is large, while the present production capacity in the world is quite insufficient. Therefore, the project has broad development prospect.

Construction contents: The land occupation area of the project is 40,000 square meters, in which the construction area is 15,000 square meters. Foreign advanced soybean protein production equipment will be exported, the annual output of soybean protein isolate is 10,000 tons.

Total project investment: 173million RMB yuan.

Analysis on economic benefit: After the project reaches designed output, the annual sales revenue is 220 million RMB yuan, the profit is 30 million RMB yuan, the investment recovery period is 6 years.
