Brief description on enterprise: The administrative area of Mudanjiang Branch Bureau is 830,000 hectares. The branch bureau has 13 subordinated large & medium mechanized state-owned farms. The total area of ploughed land is 330,000 hectares. The branch bureau is a state-level ecological demonstration zone, an important commodity grain base, a green foodstuff production base, an agricultural product & byproduct export base and a major investment development region determined by the nation. In 2005, the planting area of paddy in the branch bureau was 200,000 hectares; the yield of paddy was 1.61 million tons. Khanka Lake 1 million Mu of Green Foodstuff Paddy Production Base passed national acceptance in 2004.

Construction contents:(1) 100,000-ton/year rice processing production line, 1 piece; (2) rice bran deep-processing project. Such products as rice bran oil, rice bran lipopolysaccharide, hepatoflavin and fodder will be produced; (3) rice husk deep-processing project. Such products as active carbon, fiberboard, cellulose and fodder will be produced; (4) Rice fine & deep-processing project. Such products as porous starch, slowly dilute starch and replacement of fat-free fat will be produced.

Total project investment: 20 million RMB yuan.

Analysis on economic benefit: After the project reaches designed output, the annual sales revenue is 600 million RMB yuan, the profit is 112 million RMB yuan, the investment recovery period is 4.3 years.
